International Conference on Transportation Infrastructure and Materials (TIM) is an annual international academic conference in the field of transportation infrastructure and materials. With its rigorous academic atmosphere and high academic level, TIM leads the research and development in the field of transportation infrastructure and materials, and has attracted worldwide attention. TIM is initiated by the International Association of Chinese Infrastructure Professionals (IACIP). IACIP is a non-profit professional organization registered in the United States. The members are mainly engaged in the research of civil infrastructure systems and related fields. The previous TIMs were organized by IACIP with Chang'an University, Qingdao University of Science and Technology, Hebei University of Technology, Shandong University and Shandong Jiaotong University. The Fifth International Conference on Transportation Infrastructure and Materials (2020 TIM) will be held in Changsha on July 2nd-3rd 2020, co-sponsored by IACIP and Changsha University of Science & Technology (CSUST). CSUT is a multi-disciplinary university with main focus of engineering and have including other disciplines such as science, management, economics, literature, law, philosophy and art.
In 2020, we will address challenges and opportunities emerging from the development of new technologies. Transportation research that address the needs of the "Transportation Development for Belt and Road Areas" is especially encouraged.
The conference will host a series of technical sessions, plenary sessions, and special forums, including the World Bank Forum, the Dean’s Forum, and COTA Career Development Forum for Young Scholars and Students and Transportation Studies Forum for International Students in China. The best-paper awards and other professional awards will be granted to the authors of excellent papers or institutes/enterprises which have made outstanding contributions to the development of transportation systems in China.
